A Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union Picture Card is available to members in good standing with a valid checking account. Your Picture Card will work and function like a regular debit card and will be accepted wherever electronic VISA debit card transactions are accepted. Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union reserves the right to reject any submitted pictures. Examples of photographs which will be excluded, but are not limited to, are:
- Professional photographs, photographs including artwork or a photograph including other individuals, unless you have written permission from the creator of the professional photograph, the creator of the artwork in a photograph, and all individuals in a photograph to use the photograph.
- Photographs of celebrities, athletes, musicians or public figures.
- Photographs containing provocative, offensive, racial or political material.
- Photographs with trademarked material, advertising, promotional materials, Web site addresses or competitive marking.
By applying for the Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union Picture Card, you give Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union permission to use the photograph on the card and agree to indemnify and hold Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union harmless from and against any loss, damages, liability or costs incurred by or asserted against Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union caused directly or indirectly by the use of the photograph.

What is MyPictureCard?
MyPictureCard is an HCFCU VISA Debit Card that members can customize with a personal photo or original artwork printed on the face of the card.
Who may request MyPictureCard’s?
Any member who has a checking account in good standing may submit a photo or original artwork for a MyPictureCard Debit Card.
Can I get a MyPictureCard ATM Card?
No. An HCFCU ATM Card can not be customized.
Can I get a MyPictureCard Visa Credit Card?
No. Currently only the Visa Debit Card can be customized with a personal photo or original artwork.
How do I customize my Visa Debit card?
You have to visit www.hicommfcu.com and submit your photo or original artwork online.
Can I do it in-branch?
No. MyPictureCard Visa Debit Card orders can only be accepted via our online process.
Can I create a PIN when I submit my order?
No, you can not create a PIN when submitting your customized debit card order online.
Your PIN number will be randomly selected.
Can I change my PIN?
You may change and create your own PIN at any HCFCU branch once your card has been activated.
How much does it cost or is there a fee?
There is a printing fee of $5.00 for every custom card you receive.
Can I have a different card design than the joint member/owner on my account?
Yes. Every person who is a joint member/owner on any account can have a different card design; each card will have the $5.00 fee attached.
How often can I change my card design?
You may change your card design s often as you want. Every time you change your design there will be a $5.00 printing fee.
How do I submit the picture? In what format should it be sent?
Your pictures are to be submitted online via our online order process. Pictures should be in .JPG format. (no more than 3mb. Smaller files load more quickly)
What if I can’t send the photo electronically, can I send a hardcopy?
No. You can only submit a photo online in a .JPG format.
What will happen if my image is denied?
You will receive an email or phone call from the credit union if your image is denied.
When I receive my renewal card, will it still have my personalized image?
Your card will be good for two years. When your renewal time nears you will receive a communication from the credit union letting you know that you can either reorder a picture card online or wait for a standard card to be mailed to you.
If I lose MyPictureCard, will my replacement card have my personalized design?
If you want your replacement card to have a personalized image you must submit your application through the website.
Can report my card lost or stolen through this system?
No. If you lose your HCFCU Visa Debit Card you must report it lost or stolen directly to us. Visit any branch or call 808-930-770 during business hours or 800-543-5073 after business hours.
What if my card doesn’t look like it did online when I submitted the image?
The image that prints on your card may vary slightly from the image you see online.
How long does it take for me to receive MyPictureCard?Please allow 3 – 4 business days for your card to be printed and ready for you to pick up in the branch that you specify. If you opt to have your card mailed to you directly, it will be postmarked 3-4 business days after you place your order.
