Direct deposit saves time. And money.
Want the ultimate in convenience and security? Have your paycheck, social
security check or other eligible payment directly deposited into the
credit union account of your choice. Just provide the originating party
with your account information, and the rest will happen automatically.
Usually most employers or agencies will need some or all of the following:
your account number, account type, a signed authorization and the credit
union's routing and transit number (321379818). You can specify other
accounts you wish the payments to be deposited in by notifying us in
writing. Call any branch for further assistance or more information.
There are two ways your paycheck can be direct deposited:
Payroll deposit. Your
entire paycheck amount (net pay) is deposited into the designated account.
Payroll deduction. Only
a portion of your paycheck (usually a fixed amount) is deposited into your credit
union account. Note: You are not eligible for free checks on a payroll deduction
direct deposit.
Ask at any branch for more information on these services.
Safe and secure. Did we mention convenient?
Eliminate the risk of lost, stolen or late checks via U.S. mail or hand
delivery. Not only is direct deposit safer, it's also quicker and more convenient.
Direct deposit means no more waiting for your checks to arrive, driving
to the branch, filling out deposit slips, endorsing checks or waiting in
lines to make a deposit. It's all automatic!
Free supply of checks—and other perks—with
direct
deposit.
When you have direct deposit, look what else you get. Free supplies of
checks on selected styles. (We give a $9 credit toward styles other than
the specified one.) What's more, we also offer free money orders and travelers
cheques to our members with direct deposit.
Automated Clearing House (ACH)/Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Payments
Not only can you automatically have payroll and other eligible payments deposited
directly into your account, you can also automatically make payments for utilities,
insurance premiums and other expenses from your accounts at the Credit Union.
These transactions are processed through our ACH services. ACH, or Automated
Clearing House, is a nationwide electronic funds transfer system that
allows for electronic deposits and electronic payments to be made on
your behalf. Electronic payments can be made from either your savings or checking
accounts.*
Please check with your service provider or vendor for availability and details.
*It is highly recommended that you make Electronic Payments from your checking account. Federal regulations limit savings transfers to six pre-authorized or telephone transfers per month. An Electronic Payment is considered a pre-authorized transfer. If you exceed the limit of six pre-authorized or telephone transfers per month from your savings account, any additional pre-authorized or telephone transfers will be denied.
